Beitske kreeg in het begin van het KZ1-seizoen met de ene na de andere tegenvaller af te rekenen. De tweede wedstrijd van de WSK Master Series in Val Vibrata was daarop geen uitzondering. Hoewel Beitske toch goed op dreef was en bij de top vijf reed, werd ze nog eens aangereden door ietwat onverantwoordelijke coureurs, die haar kansen op een overwinning verpestten. Nu staat Beitske vijfde in het Kampioenschap, maar ze houdt nog steeds hoop op een plaats op het eindpodium.
Op het circuit van het Franse Ostricourt ging het immers allemaal een heel stuk beter. In de tijdritten van de KZ2 van de BNL Karting Series haalde ze meteen de poleposition binnen. Dat haar motor brak in de eerste finale zaterdag, heeft haar er niet van weerhouden om haar triomftocht op zondag verder te zetten tijdens een wedstrijddag die in alle opzichten perfect was.
"Het is fantastisch om weer op de bovenste trede van een podium te staan!" vertrouwt ze ons toe. "Ik besef natuurlijk wel dat het niveau op het Kampioenschap van Europa in de categorie KZ1 een stuk hoger zal zijn, maar deze race heeft me echt goed gedaan en ik overweeg zelfs de mogelijkheid om in augustus naar de laatste meeting van de BNL in Genk te gaan. In de komende weken ga ik me voorbereiden op het Europese evenement in Wackersdorf, met name op de WSK Master van Sienna, die ik in 2010 gewonnen heb."

The start of Beitske's season in KZ1 has been marked by a long series of mishaps. And the second round of the WSK Master Series in Val Vibrata has been no exception to this rule. While she was comfortably in the top 5, Beitske was once again run into by some irresponsible driver who ruined her chances of success. Currently 5th in the Championship, she is still aiming at a final podium.
A favourable opportunity to fulfil this hope came on the French circuit of Ostricourt. Beitske conquered immediately the pole position in KZ2 time qualifying at the NL Karting Series, and his engine problem did not prevent her from continuing her triumphant march during a racing Sunday that was perfect under every point of view.
«I was so happy to be on the top step of the podium again!» she confessed. «Of course I am aware that the level will be higher at the European KZ1 Championship, but this race has done me a lot of good and I am thinking of entering the last BNL meeting in Genk, in August. In the weeks to come, I will get ready for the European meeting in Wackersdorf, in particular the WSK Master in Siena, which I won in 2010».

De nombreux contre-temps ont émaillé le début de saison de Beitske en KZ1. La 2ème épreuve de la WSK Master Series à Val Vibrata n'a pas fait exception. Alors qu'elle tenait bien son rang dans le top 5, Beitske a encore une fois été accrochée par des pilotes un peu inconscients qui ont ruiné ses chances de résultats. Actuellement 5ème du Championnat, elle songe cependant toujours à rallier le podium final.
La situation s'est présenté sous un meilleur jour sur le circuit français d'Ostricourt. Beitske réalisait d'entrée la pole au chrono KZ2 de la BNL Karting Series, et la rupture de son moteur dans la 1ère finale samedi ne l'a pas empêchée de poursuivre sa marche triomphale lors d'un dimanche de course en tout point parfait.
« Quel bonheur de monter à nouveau sur la première marche d'un podium ! confiait-elle. Certes, je suis bien consciente que le niveau sera plus élevé au Championnat d'Europe KZ1, mais cette course m'a fait beaucoup de bien et j'envisage même de venir sur le dernier meeting de la BNL à Genk en août. Dans les semaines à venir, je vais me préparer en vue du rendez-vous européen de Wackersdorf, notamment à la WSK Master de Sienne que j'avais remportée en 2010. »
